Cris has had dogs most of his adult life. He realized early on that dogs need structure and routine when he got a pair of Cairn Terriers in 2004. After attending beginner and advanced group obedience lessons he wanted to do more with his dogs so he started training them in Agility. A year later both Devlin and Riley had titled in the sport. 

In 2015 Cris decided he wanted a career change and started looking for dog training schools to turn his dog training hobby into a legitimate career. He attended the Starmark Academy for Professional Dog Trainers in Hutto Texas. He graduated from Starmark in May of 2016 and has been training dogs professionally ever since. 

His current dog training related passions include scent work, clicker training, tricks, and competing in Rally with his dog Pepper. Pepper is titled in Advanced Rally and is working on his Excellent title.
